Crafts

The photographs you see on this site are all my own work. As well as for signs etc. and on this website I also use these, and other photographs of plants, flowers, birds, butterflies and local scenes (local to us, that is!) to create mounted prints ready for framing and photo-cards. These can be viewed and purchased on the nursery.
Additionally, prints and framed prints can be purchased from Wallace Photography.

Also available is a selection of wood-turned items are now available. Currently available are; vases, dibbers (potting and garden varieties), pricking-out forks, pens and pencils, pots, bowls, scoops (or shovels), clocks (wall or mantel), honey dippers (called stirrers, or even drizzlers, by some!), rattles, eggcups, Kitchen roll holders, string/twine dispenser/holders, tapestry bobbins, lace bobbins. I have also made a couple of Gavels, by request, s if you have any specific requests, please ask, all projects are considered.

Additionally we stock a selection of Bird Tables, nesting boxes and feeders, and due to several requests, Bat Roosting boxes. These are not always available throughout the year, as there is only time during the Autumn/Winter months for me to build them, but I try to have some left over to last into the Spring/Summer months, when growing the plants takes greater precedence. They are all constructed out from timber, rather than the usual plywood, to allow sufficient thickness of wood to insulate the birds during the cold months. I have been making these for some years now, and have a selection of standard types that I build:
Blue Tit
Great Tit
Robin
Wren (hole and open fronted types)
Sparrow
Sparrow Terrace (on request)
Starling (on request)
Great Spotted Woodpecker (on request)
Bat Roosting box
Peanut feeder (9" and 12" long)
Seed feeder (on request)
Apple/fat ball feeder
coconut and log feeders (supplied filled with seed/fat mixture.)
Additonally, most of the wooden items above, can be engraved, either with a persons/pets name etc., or a simple image. There are several options to choose from, or you can have your own artwork engraved onto your item.
Any questions or special requirements, please ask.
