Melons, Pumpkins and Squashes

Below are details of the varieties of Melons, Pumpkins and Squashes we will have available as plants this year.

All varieties of these are sown in seed trays and pricked out into individual 9cm (3½") pots.

Melons and Squashes are £1.50 each

Melon

Ogen

Open pollinated variety, producing small, broad, oval fruits, with green skin and yellow flesh..
Pumpkin

Jack of All Trades

An excellent variety for Halloween, with the right skin size, colour and quality. Also has good culinary qualities.
Pumpkin

Jack O' Lantern

Slightly elongated fruits with a bright orange skin and orange-yellow flesh.
Squash

Waltham Butternut

A winter squash which produces medium size fruits with a distinctive nutty flavour.
