Artichokes, Cardoons and Aubergines

Below are details of the varieties of Globe Artichokes, Jerusalem Artichokes and Aubergines we will have available as plants this year.

Globe Artichokes, Cardoons and Aubergines are sown in cell trays, and then potted individually into containers.

Prices for the Globe Artichokes and Cardoons vary according to the size and age of the plant. As a guide:

Plants in 9cm square pots - £1.50
Plants in 1 litre pots - £2.50
Plants in 1½ litre pots - £3
Plants in 2 litre pots - £3.50

Aubergines are priced at £1.50 each and are potted into in 9cm pots

Globe Artichoke *Green Globe* Green globe artichoke with large, blue, thistle-like flower heads.	Globe Artichoke *Violet de Provence* Purple globe artichoke with a fine flavour and attractive, large purple, thistle-like flowers.
Cardoon *Cynara cardunculus* Similar to Globe Artichokes, Cardoons are grown for their edible stalks and midribs or as ornamental plants.	Aubergine *Money Maker* Early maturing variety, of medium height and with dark fruits, of standard shape, averaging 100g in weight per fruit.
